The Artemis Academy has been established to train a new generation of tree surgeons to our own high standards with practical on-the-job experience, classroom instruction and crucial qualifications recognised across the industry. Our 2-year apprenticeship scheme has been carefully crafted to generate some of the best newly qualified arborists in the business.
Work Experience
Our apprentices have a real job with a salary and spend most of the time working on-site for hands-on experience.
Mentor
We match our apprentices with a workplace mentor within Artemis who has lots of industry experience to provide support throughout the job and qualification.
Qualification
You will be a fully qualified arborist on completion of the apprenticeship with classroom study on issues such as tree identification, tree science and tree pests and diseases.
Transferable skills
We do, of course, want our apprentices to stay with us once they qualify, but the skills will be fully transferable which opens up long-term career prospects.
